He has been working at the department since 1994.

He is the author of 3 monographs, 1 textbook (co-authored with Tarasova N.Yu.), as well as more than 60 scientific publications in domestic professional journals on philosophical, anthropological, religious, aesthetic, ethical issues.

Member of the editorial board of the scientific journal "Anthropological Dimensions of Philosophical Research" (Web of Science).

Sphere of scientific interests: methodology of scientific knowledge, history of philosophy, aesthetics, religious studies, cultural studies, anthropology.

In 1985 he defended his PhD thesis on the theme: "Socialist artistic culture and holistic development of personality".

In 1998 he got the title of associate professor.

In 2013 he defended his doctoral thesis on "Spirituality as a philosophical and socio-historical problem". (Specialty 09.00.03 - Social Philosophy and Philosophy of History).

Since 2013 - Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy.

He teaches disciplines: "Value Competencies of a Specialist", "Ancient Oriental Philosophy", "Introduction to Ancient Philosophy", "Ancient Philosophy", "German Idealistic Philosophy", "Metaphysics", "Culture of the Ancient East", "Aesthetics".
