Nataliya Tarasova - PhD (Philosophy), Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy of Dnipro University of Technology. She has been working at the department since 1999, deputy head of the department for scientific work.
She is the author of 3 co-authored textbooks (one is recognised by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine), about 50 scientific publications in national and foreign professional journals on philosophical and cultural issues, art issues, more than 50 journalistic publications on culture in Ukrainian and foreign journals, more than 1000 newspapers and more screenplays of television films dedicated to prominent figures in contemporary music. She is the author of two collections of poetry, "Consonance" and "Chronos," and has publications in the poetry collections of the Stepman Hellas almanac. Member of the National Union of Journalists (since 1988). Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine (since 2004); Sphere of scientific interests: problems of social philosophy and cultural studies, personal identity, cultural and national identity in the global world, culture and identity in the information society, issues of development of contemporary foreign and national art, composer`s creativity and spiritual music, modern symphonic and creative trends. In 2007 she defended her PhD thesis in specialty 09.00.03 - Social Philosophy and Philosophy of History on the topic "Features of Sociocultural Identification of Society" and got a PhD in Philosophy. In 2011 she got the title of associate professor in the department of philosophy. Teaches disciplines: "Value Competencies of a Specialist", "Cultural Studies" 033 - Philosophy, "Ancient Culture"- 034 - Cultural Studies, "Postmodern Political Philosophy" - 033 - Philosophy, "Intercultural Education and Communication" - 011 m - Educational, Pedagogical Sciences. Winner of the X Regional Inter-University Competition of the Social Protection Fund, Support and Assistance to Ukrainian Scientists and Members of Their Families (2014); Prize after Vitaliy Kireyko in the field of musicology winner (2016); I and II levels winner of the Regional Patriotic Literary Competition of Dnipropetrovsk region after Valerian Podmogilny (2016, 2017). Has the acknowledgment of the Main Department of Education and Science of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, Dnipropetrovsk City Council, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, acknowledgments and an honorary diploma of the management staff of Dnipro University of Technology.
